The food bank is only open Weds & Fri at Grove Road (off Moulsham St). Clients should be encouraged to collect if they can, otherwise the food bank will deliver. Ask for permission to pass their phone number to the food bank. Then tell them that you or a supervisor will email them with a voucher. If they don’t have email then we’ll call them with a voucher code number. Then pass the details on to a supervisor. The food bank is supposed to be for people who can’t afford food rather than those that can’t get out of the house for corona-related reasons. If appropriate, direct the latter to local voluntary sources of support.

Is client vulnerable in any way (mental or physical problems, educational difficulties etc.)?

Has the client given permission to share details with research partner? OR Client wishes to remain unnamed and was given their Client Reference Number? (delete whichever is not applicable)
